Held every year on Ascension Day, it has been part of the city\u2019s living heritage since <strong>1304<\/strong> and was recognised by <strong>UNESCO<\/strong> as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">According to legend, Count Thierry of Alsace brought a relic containing a drop of <strong>Christ\u2019s Holy Blood<\/strong> back from the Second Crusade in 1149.
