Beurs-, Meeting-, en Congrescentrum (BMCC) promotes Bruges as a meeting and congress city

Bruges recently acquired a brand-new conference centre to hold a meeting, organise a conference or simply brainstorm in the middle of the World Heritage city of Bruges?

With its rich history and international flair, Bruges welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Its rich culture, excellent gastronomy and authenticity make Bruges the ideal base for team building, incentives or events for many small and large companies.

Visit Bruges Convention Bureau is responsible for the promotion of the Hanseatic city of Bruges as a national and international congress and meeting city.

A fine example is the gastronomic and culinary top conference UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism. Bruges is the ideal host city for this conference, because in addition to its beautiful historical inner city, it is also an excellent culinary hotspot.

With the planned opening of the Beurs-, Meet-, en Congrescentrum in early January 2022, as well as the renovation of the Provinciaal Hof (late 2024), several special heritage venues and the opening of the new BRUSK exhibition hall, the city will be able to present a very rich and diverse offer.

Bruges has a multitude of exclusive meeting venues for meetings, seminars, congresses and incentives. Just think of the congress infrastructure such as the brand-new Beurs-, Meeting-, en Congrescentrum or the Concertgebouw to historic locations such as Stadshallen. Or an example of Bruges’ medical heritage is the Oud Sint-Jan site, which is extremely attractive to participants in medical congresses.

The Beurs-, Meet-, en Congrescentrum (BMCC) will, as the name suggests, mainly focus on attracting trade fairs and congresses.

Smaller VIP groups will find what they are looking for in our private venues.
