Venetian Magic in the Heart of Bruges

This Saturday, March 21st, Bruges transforms into the “Venice of the North” during the enchanting event ‘Costumés in Bruges’.
Between the Belfry and the Queen Astrid Park, you can admire dozens of performers dressed in spectacular, handmade Venetian costumes and masks.
This annual parade by Regards Vénitiens brings the authentic atmosphere of the Venetian Carnival to our historic streets.
Event Schedule (Saturday, March 21, 2026):
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Morning walk through the city center.
02:30 PM: Start of the afternoon parade at the Belfry inner courtyard.
02:30 PM – 04:00 PM: The group follows a scenic route: Markt > Eiermarkt > Geldmuntstraat > Noordzandstraat > ‘t Zand > Zuidzandstraat > Steenstraat > Simon Stevinplein > Markt.
04:00 PM: Group photo opportunity at the Provinciaal Hof (Market Square).
04:30 PM – 05:00 PM: Grand finale with a “Catwalk” on the Market Square.
